Born 1862, died 1923. Founder of the Isaly Dairy Companies of Ohio.
The Isaly Dairy Companies were noted for their chain of ice cream parlors, the "skyscraper" ice cream cone, and the famous "Klondike" ice cream bar. The family sold the company in 1970. A new book on the Isaly Dairy Company has been published by Brian Butko of the Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania under the title: Klondikes, Chipped Ham, & Skyscraper Cones: The Story of Isaly's.
